Since this is the week before Mother’s Day, I thought I would share some recent photos of the little people who made me a mom.
This is my oldest. She is 6 now, and full of sweetness and drama. Part princess and part super hero. I love how she looks completely natural running around outside covered in dirt with her toenails painted a perfect pink. She has no problem changing her mind about anything and everything. Today she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Tomorrow she might want to be an astronaut. Today her favorite color is pink. Tomorrow her favorite color might be purple, or maybe blue. She loved her jelly sandwiches yesterday, but today she can’t stand them.
My sweet little girl likes to keep life interesting and new, that’s for sure!

I didn’t get the photo I wanted of my middle guy so I’m going to have to try again soon. Normally you can look at him and see the mischief in his eyes, but his allergies were getting the best of him this day. He is 3 years old and is always either making us laugh or getting in to trouble. (Sometimes both at the same time). He has a simply fantastic imagination and I love asking him questions just so that I can hear the crazy answers he comes up with. He’s my snuggle buddy and steals my heart several times a day by saying “I love you Mommy” completely out of the blue.

And this is the baby I never knew I couldn’t live without. I always wanted to be a mom, and always thought that I wanted two kids. My husband agreed. Then one day when our second was only a few days home from the hospital, we looked at each other and said we weren’t done. Now our sweet baby boy is one year old and I can’t imagine life without his giggles and slobbery kisses. He is such a laid back, fun little dude. We are savoring every babble and wobbly step because we know just how quickly they go from teething to losing their first tooth.

Have a great week!!
