Things have been busy around here and I’ve neglected the blog again. Sorry old pal! I’m going to fill this post with tons of super cute kiddos in hopes that it earns me forgiveness!
Seriously, who needs a thousand words when one will do??? Awwwww!!!!!
Well senior portrait season is in full swing. I LOVE this time of year! Tons of gorgeous subjects who follow directions and who don’t make me work up a sweat chasing them down and doing silly dances to make them smile. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my tiny subjects, but senior portraits are nice for a change of pace for a couple months out of the year. 
I just finished proofing this beauty’s session and I couldn’t help but share some here. LOVED her outfits!! LOVED her session! I hope she has an amazing senior year!!!
Not only is this sweet baby girl insanely cute but she really hit the jackpot when it comes to parents. Her mommy and daddy are so smitten with her that it makes you feel good just being in the same room with them. I’m so grateful to have been able to spend my morning with this new little family!

We are now booking special mini sessions that celebrate the magic of childhood. Does your child have a special stuffed animal he can’t leave the house without? Does your daughter spend her days having tea parties with her favorite dolls? Do you have a super hero or fairy princess? Or maybe you just want to capture your kids in fits of giggles or chasing butterflies or bubbles? These mini sessions are all about documenting those sweet moments in your child’s life.
Sessions will take place on Saturday, June 12th in St. Mary’s County. (If this date will not work for you, or if you have a special location in mind that you would like to use, please contact me. I am not limiting these sessions to this date alone). Sessions will last 20-30 minutes and you will have your choice of a traditional printed session or digital session. The print session is $150 and includes an online gallery with 5-7 proofs from which to chose the following: (1) 8×10, (2) 5×7s, (1) set of wallets and a mini desktop storyboard. The digital session is $250 and includes a cd with 5 digital negatives with personal printing release and one 5×7 print of each negative.
I will provide an assortment of props such as super hero capes, pettiskirts, bubbles and balloons, but I highly recommend bringing your own toys or costumes from home that have special meaning to your child. I don’t know about you, but I am thoroughly enjoying this gorgeous spring weather! To celebrate all the beautiful spring color and lovely weather I thought I would offer some special spring mini sessions. For the next two weekends (4/24 & 4/25 and 5/1 & 5/2) I will have a limited number of mini sessions available with the following portrait collection choices:
Buds~$125 Includes: session + 1 8×10, 2-5×7s and 1 set of 8 wallets
Blooms~$250 Includes: session + a cd with 5 digital negatives with one 5×7 print of image

I am going to be offering some special sessions this spring celebrating the magic of childhood. Maybe you have a princess, a fairy, a knight or a superhero. Maybe your little guy loves his airplanes, or your little girl can’t leave the house without her teddy bear. In the coming weeks I’ll be announcing some special sessions to document these magical childhood moments for you!

I WAY overshot this session. He was sooo fast I was afraid that I wasn’t going to have any photos in focus or they were all going to be a fraction of a second too late and I wouldn’t have any of the shots I wanted. (Typical two year old! HA HA!) Well, I was faster than I thought and now I have too many cute ones. I could just eat this kid up! He is the kind you want to scoop up and take home with you.
I just had to dig up a photo from his session this time last year. I love getting the chance to watch so many cutie pies grow up. Then:

I couldn’t say why, but this is my absolute favorite photograph from this session. That perfect little angel, sweet as sugar face, but you can still see he was up to something!
I was also sooo excited to learn that he is going to be a big brother! I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to this great family!
