Wishing a very happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful Dads out there!
We are now booking special mini sessions that celebrate the magic of childhood. Does your child have a special stuffed animal he can’t leave the house without? Does your daughter spend her days having tea parties with her favorite dolls? Do you have a super hero or fairy princess? Or maybe you just want to capture your kids in fits of giggles or chasing butterflies or bubbles? These mini sessions are all about documenting those sweet moments in your child’s life.
Sessions will take place on Saturday, June 12th in St. Mary’s County. (If this date will not work for you, or if you have a special location in mind that you would like to use, please contact me. I am not limiting these sessions to this date alone). Sessions will last 20-30 minutes and you will have your choice of a traditional printed session or digital session. The print session is $150 and includes an online gallery with 5-7 proofs from which to chose the following: (1) 8×10, (2) 5x7s, (1) set of wallets and a mini desktop storyboard. The digital session is $250 and includes a cd with 5 digital negatives with personal printing release and one 5×7 print of each negative.
I will provide an assortment of props such as super hero capes, pettiskirts, bubbles and balloons, but I highly recommend bringing your own toys or costumes from home that have special meaning to your child. Please contact me by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule your session or discuss your ideas.
My morning tomorrow just opened up and I was thinking about doing something special for Mother’s Day. Soooo, the first two people who email me ( email@example.com ) will get a free mini session tomorrow morning for themselves or a friend. Sessions will take place at 10 and 10:30 in St. Marys County so the winning moms and their kids must be available for the session at that time. The session and one 8×10 are a gift from me. Additional prints may be purchased separately. Happy Mother’s Day!!
Since this is the week before Mother’s Day, I thought I would share some recent photos of the little people who made me a mom.
This is my oldest. She is 6 now, and full of sweetness and drama. Part princess and part super hero. I love how she looks completely natural running around outside covered in dirt with her toenails painted a perfect pink. She has no problem changing her mind about anything and everything. Today she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Tomorrow she might want to be an astronaut. Today her favorite color is pink. Tomorrow her favorite color might be purple, or maybe blue. She loved her jelly sandwiches yesterday, but today she can’t stand them. My sweet little girl likes to keep life interesting and new, that’s for sure!
I didn’t get the photo I wanted of my middle guy so I’m going to have to try again soon. Normally you can look at him and see the mischief in his eyes, but his allergies were getting the best of him this day. He is 3 years old and is always either making us laugh or getting in to trouble. (Sometimes both at the same time). He has a simply fantastic imagination and I love asking him questions just so that I can hear the crazy answers he comes up with. He’s my snuggle buddy and steals my heart several times a day by saying “I love you Mommy” completely out of the blue.
And this is the baby I never knew I couldn’t live without. I always wanted to be a mom, and always thought that I wanted two kids. My husband agreed. Then one day when our second was only a few days home from the hospital, we looked at each other and said we weren’t done. Now our sweet baby boy is one year old and I can’t imagine life without his giggles and slobbery kisses. He is such a laid back, fun little dude. We are savoring every babble and wobbly step because we know just how quickly they go from teething to losing their first tooth.
Have a great week!!
