• Welcome to my blog! Bay Breeze Photography serves Southern Maryland and surrounding areas. I am a terrible blogger and trying to reform. If it looks like nothing is happening here, please check out my Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram pages by clicking on the icons below. If you hear crickets there as well, then it's probably football, soccer or swimming season and I'm too busy running around like a lunatic to update. I am very quick to answer emails and do my very best to return phone calls within 24 hours, so feel free to contact me any time with questions or to check my schedule. Thanks for stopping by!!

Sometimes you just know | Southern Maryland Senior Portraits

Sometimes when I am in the middle of a session I get a shot that I just know is going to be THE shot.  This was it for this senior session:

This is my second “little sister” this year.  I took her sister’s senior portraits two years ago.  It’s frightening how quickly time passes!

October is…

It’s my Dad’s birthday!   HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!  Love you!!!  Smooch!

Sorry, had to get that in just in case he “stopped by” the blog today. :)

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Please, please, please all you ladies out there make sure you are doing your monthly exams and getting your mammograms!  This is very near and dear to my heart since my mom is a breast cancer survivor.  I can not express how important it is.  My mom had just been to the doctor for her annual check up a couple of months before.  Her cancer was very fast growing, and had she not found it herself so early on, it may have been too late.  Have trouble remembering every month?  I found a great site that will set you up with a plan and send you email reminders even!    www.mypinkplan.com  Check it out!

Also, did you know I am a member of Think Pink Photography?   We offer complimentary portrait sessions to breast cancer patients.  Members of this organization include photographers from all across the country.  If you know someone who is bravely battling this terrible disease, please pass the link along.  More “pink” posts to come this month.

Holiday Portrait Specials | Maryland Photography

Boy, I feel like I need a drum roll. :)  Sorry it’s taken me forever to post this.  We had a nasty cold bug in our house and it took forever to get through all five of us.  Pretty miserable couple of weeks, especially for the baby.  I’ve been getting tons of emails about my holiday sessions so I knew I had better get busy and post.  Here we go….

Holiday Mini Sessions
15-20 minute sessions
3-5 proofs
1 outfit
up to 5 people (each additional person add $25)

1 set of 8 wallets
50 holiday cards

5 digital image files on cd with personal printing release
5-5x7s (one of each file included on your cd

25 holiday cards

Of course you may also book one of the full regular or digital sessions that are listed on our pricing page if you would like more proofs from which to choose.  Remember, sessions must take place by November 15th for guaranteed Christmas delivery and sessions are very limited this year.

As a special incentive to book early, I will be gifting the first five people who reserve mini sessions an adorable mini storyboard, and the first five to reserve full sessions a mini holiday brag album.  They are both sooo cute!  You’re gonna love them!  Hurry up and email me now at alicia@baybreezephoto.com

Future Rockstar! | Maryland Newborn Photography

You have to check out the hair on this little guy!  Was he born to rock or what?!?!

I’m not exaggerating when I say one of the cutest babies EVER, right?!?!  I was so glad when his mommy and daddy let his hair do its thing rather than attempt to tame it.  I’m sure they will be too when they look back at these photos in the years to come.  I can’t wait to play with this cutie pie again!

I made her wait…| St. Mary’s County Senior portraits

This poor girl has been waiting too long to view her proofs.  Apparently I am completely dense because it never occurred to me (until recently) that having three children means that colds have one more little person to make miserable in my house.  I learned a few other things over the course of the past three weeks as well.  Do they get sick all at once?  Nope .  Do they do it when the pediatrician is in town holding regular office hours?  Nope.  Do they do it when the covering pediatrician is in the office closest to us?  Nope.  (Had to drive 45 minutes to the Dunkirk office three times in the last two weeks).  The poor baby is sick right now and on breathing treatments. :(  I can’t tell you how much I am hoping that he can kick this soon so we are all better and resting comfortably at night again.

Anyway, the moral of the story is that this poor senior has been forced to wait since I’ve only been able to grab a few moments here and there to work the past couple of weeks.  Her gallery will finish uploading tonight so I am really hoping that she will be thrilled and they will be worth the wait!  Here’s a little peek…

Yes, they were worth the wait. I love these 2. Can’t wait to see the rest. Thanks
